Océane Imber

Professional profile

Océane is a recent graduate student in International Studies from France. Her first working experience in an event agency, KTS Events in the United Kingdom, gave her a taste for managing projects. Her interest in interculturality and human rights led her later to work for a think tank and a humanitarian organisation through internships. These experiences developed her awareness on the importance of empowering people.

Océane worked for the think tank “Pour la Solidarité” in Belgium on the theme of “Diversity” which included creating web content, assisting on project management and research.

In 2014, she also had the opportunity to work for the Council of Europe, leading human rights organisation on the European continent, where she was assisting one of the Council’s spokespeople for media relations as well as assisting the media monitoring team, managing the internal direct news website.

Personal statement

Passionate about travelling, I have tried since a very young age to visit as many countries as possible. Always seeking new discoveries and willing to meet new people, I am constantly looking for more adventure and challenges.
