Jenny has worked as a facilitator for over fifteen years in the school sector and the tertiary sector. Working collaboratively with leadership and teachers/tutors/lecturers, she is skilled at supporting the designing, delivering, monitoring and evaluating of tailored professional development that builds the capacity of teachers/tutors/lecturers and leaders.
It has included working with leadership teams in and across schools to design and undertake strengths/needs analysis to inform the co-construction of action plans, supporting schools to develop pedagogical content knowledge through one-to-one modelling. Also co-teaching, and practice analysis conversations and using teaching as inquiry to interrogate practice, student needs and teacher impact.
She has worked with diverse students, teachers, senior management teams, families/whānau and the wider community to enhance student learning and accelerate achievement.
Jenny also has experience working collaboratively with teachers in Special Schools tailoring the PLD to suit their diverse and particular needs.
Her experience also includes working with trade tutors in the tertiary sector providing tailored PLD across a wide range of different trades tutors/lecturers (Industry Training Providers).
Jenny uses current research to inform practice modelling life-long learning and ensuring that schools receive the best possible professional learning experience based on her expertise and the latest research.

I believe that all students can achieve at the highest level within a teaching and learning environment that meets their needs. High expectations with challenging and relevant learning experiences develop student self belief and enhance achievement. Collaborative support is a key element in raising student achievement. “It takes a village to raise a child”.
