Masters graduation

DSCN2029

In late September we had a great family holiday over on the Gold Coast, during which we travelled down to the Southern Cross University Lismore Campus (just across the NSW’s border) for my graduation for my Masters of Business Administration.

After all the years that my family have supported me through my study it was a lovely family occasion- which coincided with Howard’s birthday. It was important that all the graduates recognised what an important part family play in study, and it was a lovely gesture when they got us all to stand, turn to face our families and acknowledge their role in our success.

It was also great for me to visit the campus for the first time and to meet fellow graduates, none of whom I had met before as I did all my study extramurally.

It was also good to show Thomas (who turned 9 whilst we were away) what can be achieved in education.
