I wonder if it&#039;ll be the job of future teachers to broker the difference between how technology inevitably influences children&#039;s lives, and how they can take control of  that influence for themselves. Either way, we&#039;ll need to know our stuff and know the kids. 
Interesting quote about not seeing computers. It&#039;s not computers that narrow the focus around learning. We have plenty of them in my school but the point is we&#039;re not teaching &#039;computing&#039;. That&#039;d be like teaching the finer points of door construction when what you really want to do is open the jolly thing and go look outside.</description>
