Thank you for your interest in being part of New Zealand's biggest educator conference!
Please read the following information carefully to plan your submission.
Share your ideas and experiences, and invigorate and inspire your colleagues at uLearn17 (11-13 October) or uLearn Changing Spaces (10 October) in Hamilton.
Accepted abstracts become part of the breakout programme in one or more of the following streams:
Consider where your contribution(s) best align with this year’s conference strands, and select one or more strands when submitting your abstract. Delegates will be able to search breakouts by strand if desired, as well as by subject, presenter, timeslot, etc.
Māori medium breakouts, delivered in te reo, also run throughout the conference programme.
Note: The emphasis for the uLearn Changing Spaces pre-conference is on enhancing practice, and supporting teachers and leaders to successfully implement innovative learning environments, as well as how to work collaboratively in them with both students and colleagues. Presenters have been specifically invited to present at this event. Please contact email@example.com if you are interested in being part of this programme.
The uLearn17 Conference Committee and Research team will consider all submissions and determine which submissions will be included in the programme based on the following criteria:
Presenters must register for uLearn17 in order to present at the conference. Please ensure the same email address is used in both your registration and abstract submission.
A maximum of three people per abstract/breakout will be accepted into the uLearn17 programme as presenters, and are eligible to receive the presenter discount rate of $690+GST. Any additional co-presenters will not receive presenter status or the presenter discount.
We recommend all proposed presenters in your abstract register before 31 May in order to receive the earlybird discount.
1. If a person eligible for presenter status and discount is registered as part of a 5+ or 20+ group, the higher group discount rate will apply.
2. If you are attending the conference as an exhibitor, you may use an exhibitor pass and do not need to register as a delegate. Please note exhibitor passholders receive access to the exhibitor hall only and are not permitted to attend any keynote or breakout sessions (other than those they are presenting). There is also a limited number of exhibitor passes permitted per stand.
