I fly out back to England tonight- my friend Shaun picked me up from Tauranga yesterday and flew me to Auckland-can you see the sky tower? Wow! What a way to say goodbye to New Zealand.

Could that be the Shaun I first met when we were both schoolboys at Lincoln?
He’s gone up in the world.

Higher still and higher
From the earth thou springest
Like a cloud of fire:
The blue deep thou wingest,
And singing still dost soar, and soaring evr singest.

Yes young Anthony, ’tis I. How ye be? Great to see Gina again. She’s quite a pilot herself. Well, we didn’t hit anything. What a fantastic day it was. And great to see David. He’s all grown up!

David? All grown up? For a moment there I
thought you were talking about my brother.
I’m good, Shaun. Drop me a line sometime. It’s
been a while.
