Residency
October 27th, 2004 by gina.revillMy ancestry visa that has allowed me to live and work here for four years is running out in a few weeks. (where did the time go??) The next step is to apply for residency.
If I go in person to Croydon and complete the application in one day, it will cost me ??100 more than if I make a postal application.
Seems a simple solution, but I also have 17 days of holiday to claim before Christmas, and I’d love to pop over to Europe for a week or so. I’ve heard horror stories from my friends of passports lost in the bowels of the immigration service for months. But if I go in person my holiday fund is significantly reduced! A true quandary…
(of course I haven’t even considered the option that they may say go home and never return ![]()

Comments
Well - you’ve certainly stirred up some comments with your latest entries (not), I guess if you become a resident on a more permanent basis it could be said that you have increased the average IQ of both countries.
Yes I know it???s an old one, I???m just trying to inject some life in to a blog that seems to have gone dead.
You do realise that I have no real life of my own and check in here everyday with some expectations, a sort of parasitic internet life.
Live long and prosper.

I’m sure if you wear that nice red top and show some nice clevage, and happen to get a male, you might get another stamp….what am I saying?
