Party
November 10th, 2004 by gina.revillUsually I would say it’s an excellent party if I smash three fingernails and break a piano string-it’s down a level if I only smash a couple and leave the strings intact. On Saturday night I bent one nail back slightly…
I did have a lovely time though-at one stage I bullied some poor guests into making a comment on Pete’s blog-I hope this doesn’t mean I’m becoming obsessed…

Of course you are obsessed, Gina. How’s your nail today?

I’ve had to cut it very very short but it was worth it

I’m not sure which is more disturbing. The broken nail obsession, or the sight of party animals having a real wild time playing on a laptop.

The guy in the red sneakers looks just like Chris Evans to me…. is it? (sorry if this might offend someone!)

My first party typing on a laptop… and I enjoyed it a lot!! I’ve just seen Pete in shorts and sandals in a snowed field, in the Rocky mountains, I think. He’s a great guy.
(Btw, do yanks know that Nevada means “snowed” in Spanish?… and Florida “flowered”? and Colorado “coloured”? and Montana “mountain”? etc)

and that looks like the lovely Rachel and the gorgeous Brian and I wasn’t even invited!
I think I’ll just keep your piano…

Look here you-I DID invite you and you didn’t show up-don’t go giving me that ‘I’m in NZ’ stuff again-it’s irrelevant-I expect full attendance at our next party (which by the way won’t be for a long time-it’s taken me a week to get over this one-I’m so pathetic
As for my piano, I sometimes despair when I will ever get home again and reunite my pianos in one house-will I ever get there?? Did you get it tuned in the end? Is it happy?
