Pete and I went to see Ian at Middlesex today to try and bring some order to all the projects we have on the go at the moment. Ian fires off about 27 emails per week to us suggesting conferences and papers and projects and ideas. I can’t say yes to everything, but I wish I could!

We took a few minutes to walk around a bit-what a stunning place! It used to be a country manor. I walked from the tube station through lovely parklands to the campus-it’s a 20 minute walk but worth it, especially just after rain.

A curious thing…look how Ian’s tie matched his coffee cup….

  1. Reading your Blog reminded me of this warning;

    There is a dangerous virus going around (especially on a Friday). It is called WORK. If you receive WORK from your colleagues, your boss or anyone else, via e-mail or any other means, DO NOT TOUCH IT! This virus wipes out your private life completely.

    If you should come into contact with WORK, put on your jacket, take two good friends and go straight to the nearest pub. Buy the antidote known as BEER or J&B. Take the antidote repeatedly until WORK has been completely eliminated from your system.

    Forward this warning immediately to at least 5 friends. Should you realize that you do not have 5 friends, this means that you are already infected and that WORK already controls your life.

    REMEMBER, THIS VIRUS IS DEADLY!
