Why did we set up UV in the first place? To offer the opportunity for a HE experience to those who would otherwise not be able to study at University - widening participation.
This isn’t the same as the OU offering as we wanted it to be a three year experience for those who enjoyed the work they did and wanted to get better at it through study using action research methodology.
In the words of our validation document “The programme will focus on ???understanding why and knowing how to ??? and will develop individuals to become articulate, critically reflective problem solvers within their work context”
