HEAT AND FLOWERS
July 18th, 2006 by gina.revillIs it possible to work in this heat??
I am trying to finish off the first draft of a literature review by this evening to impress Vicki’s socks off, but it’s just hit mid afternoon and the heat is oppresive and my brain has melted.

And to top it off I found out that I was sent flowers but the delivery person would not allow anyone here at work to keep them for me as I wasn’t physically present. I don’t know who sent them and that was FRIDAY and it’s HOT and they will now be DEAD and I can’t bear the thought of that!
Is there anything more delightful than receiving flowers?? I immediately feel completely loved and important and adore everyone and everything, particularly the person who just gave them to me. Irrational but there we have it.
IT’S HOT!

What literature are you reviewing and what did you have to say about it?
I don’t like the new blog format.
If the flowers delivery person was an employee of mine, I would sack him or her.

Can’t remember what it’s like to be cold…
As for the blog - it’s not the last change. I got sick of the yellow.

Hey Gina-bug…
Like the look of the new blog template except that the font is too bloody small to read!
Nice pic in the banner though.

I second that Gina - font is a bit small, and I like colour, but excellent photo of you at the top. It makes the world a much nicer place to be in when we can view your beautiful smile.
It was zero degrees last night at Melbourne airport, and I had to work in it all night! Brrrrr! The wind made it worse still. Send over some of that heat to me please!
To whoever sent those flowers - go back to the florist and ask them to send some more. They didn’t do what you paid them to do. I can’t stand the injustice.

LOL Thanks Ali! You wouldn’t want to be in Hampshire at the moment - trust me. It’s too bloody hot.
