For Melanie

Beautiful Mel
How can I write down what I???m feeling in less than 30 thousand words??? I could sing it for you. I wish I was there to sing my love for you, though I’d probably choose the piano rather than the ukulele. I wish I was there to celebrate with you both. I wish I was there to see you marry the wonderful, the unique, the gorgeously gentle, clever and kind Chris ??? the thoughtful, considerate, wonderful man - someone who has made you happy.
I remember the day you went off to meet him for the first time??? it was a sunny Sunday in London. I saw you walk down the street through the lounge window. I also remember sitting on the porch of our little Thai hut in the darkness listening to the sea and talking about some of the things that were missing in our lives. I know Chris has filled up so much for you. I remember walking down a Walthamstow street saying to you that I knew things were changing for us both and that I was so happy to have shared this phase of my life with you.
We???ve shared so much. I couldn???t list it all here. You are simply one of the best human beings I???ve ever met. You are the closest to a sister I???ve ever known and you have been and continue to be someone who teaches me about life and how to be a better version of myself.
And I know you have a good match in Chris. And I love you both a lot. You have all my support and love for your marriage and for Bella.

Congratulations Mel & Chris.
Despite our slack arse ability to remain in contact via e-mail, you are missed. You sowed a lot of love and goodness to us and others, my wish for you is you???ll reap what you???ve sown in life Mel.
We love the photos of the baby and the wedding. Neralie even got a bit teary eyed.
Life is grand ??? London was like a big interchange in the highways of life???s different paths, we all got off the round about at different times and headed in different directions, some directions not so different to others, and some of us are still stuck going round and round (lucky buggers).

Oh I am so happy seeing Pete & Neralie’s lines… and a bit tired of being the invisible one with the pics!
Love to you all, guys.

You made me cry again!! We all made such good memories of our time in London. Pete and Neralie - I miss you guys and I’d love to have been able to meet your gorgeous children. Will definitely have to beg for a space on your floor when we visit!
As for you - invisible Ig - we all have photos of you in our hearts!
Gina-bug… you are one special chick. As Caz used to say - I love you to bits!
