Aiming for elegance

Told to me by my pilates instructor early this morning…
We will help you make the impossible, possible…
The possible, easy…
The easy, elegant…
That surely applies to anything worth doing well. It ought to become CORE’s aim in our facilitation work.

I disagree - it all seems to simple.
‘We will help you make the impossible, possible…’
or help you come to terms with your humanity, and look for help with good grace.
The possible, easy…
or motivate your ambition and support your perseverance whilst you struggle.
The easy, elegant…
or remind you that it is easy because you are good.

You’re not the only one who disagrees. Derek said this morning he thought enjoyment ought to be in there somewhere.
You have valid points but their wordiness doesn’t sound as elegant

My Pilates instructors have never been eloquent, but they have definitely made the impossible, possible etc. The learning for me is that what looks possible, easy or elegant is the result of persistence and determination. What makes the difference is whether the hard work is also fun

The hard work underpinning elegance in anything made me think of ballet hence the image. You are right about enjoyment - or fulfilment? Can you have one without the other? Argh.
