I am looking to revamp our school website as I am not happy with the rather clunky ‘look and feel’ of it.
Please let me know of any standout school sites you know of!!!!

I am keen to have a largely static website with Web2.0 sites linked from it that have the ‘dynamic content’ on them.

Thanks in anticipation :-) Greg

I’m about to re-do our school website (Southbridge School). I re-did it from scratch two years ago but am bored with it now. It’s just the same as everyone elses & doesn’t reflect how we are at Southbridge. I also want it so that the teachers and kids can update their pages directly. I’d like it to be more interactive. I am looking at using Site@School - have you come across it at all?
    Your thoughts?

  2. I know a few schools use it but more than that …??
    KnowledgeNet/SmartAsk are another alternative.
I met with a web design company today to get a quote to build something unique for us.
so … possibly using Joomla CMS as a back end to the site - and therefore readily customisable too. It is pretty expensive as a one-off but over a potential 5-10 year life of a good site it doesn’t sound quite so bad :-)
