I have just been watching this video from JISC following a link from Judy O’Connels blog. I also follow Doug Johnson who writes wonderfully on many information and information management issues.
We have a wonderful “library’ at school that is very much at the centre of the learning that happens in our school. So much more than simply a place to store books on the off-chance someone may want to read them.
It is interesting that in the video Sarah Porter from JISC describes how libraries support “learning and teaching” – the first time I have heard someone put the two this way around with respect to information and libraries – YAY!!!!!!!! Learning at the centre for a change!!
