rnz online revamp

For teachers wanting to add Radio NZ news items, interviews or documentary as resources for students’ inquiry, the new National Radio website has made this easy. All programmes are now streamed, but more to the point, a week’s archive is maintained, so that interview you heard while driving to work on Monday can be used at a time that suits you later in the week, the science documentary you heard while gardening on Sunday afternoon can be added to the week’s lessons…. There is no podcast (downloadable) material yet.

Hi Jedd i checked this out while trying to find some kids podcasted stories (wishful thinking…)
It would be great to see some of the stories that you can buy on CD (or audiotape even!!) http://www.radionz.co.nz/replayradio/catalogue/children available to download.
Keep an eye on BBC Big Toe Radio http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbc7/bigtoe/books/?GXHC_GX_jst=8258c07950ea6165 they have a great selection of kids books - i haven’t worked out if they are podcasted or not but reading through some of the ‘help’ pages look like they will be trialling it.
