presentation-to-podcast tool

Announced today at profcast.com is ProfCast, “the first all-in-one presentation-to-podcast tool for the Mac that …. that lets users record presentations as they are presented. ProCast also helps publish recorded presentations as a podcast, including slides, audio and RSS feed. All elements of the presentation, including slide timing, animations and voice narration, are recorded. Features include Live Presentation Recording, Synchronized Slides with Audio, RSS Generation for Podcasting, and Publishing support.”

A link to an elementary school’s podcasting site willow web is included and worth checking out. I assume profcast software is used, but more interesting to me is the site layout and quality of the podcasts. The inclusion of slides to illustrate the topic is a nice feature.
