After reading my entry on podcast station this morning, a Win 2K/XP podcast production application, a blog reader has pointed me to profcast, a new all-in-one presentation-to-podcast tool for the Mac, that records and publishes Keynote or PowerPoint presentations. From the site; “All elements of your presentation, including slide timing and voice narration, are recorded. You can then publish your complete presentation on the Web as a Podcast, complete with RSS support”.

To use Profcast, you add the presentation that you want to deliver, and press the “Start Recording” button. Then give your presentation they way you normally would, and when you are finished simply end it, click the “Stop Recording” button, and click the “Publish”. ProfCast will walk you through a series of dialogs to help you publish your podcast. A free trial is available, and full version is around US$35.
