gliffy

Gliffy is a cool new online application that enables you to create diagrams and flow charts in your browser. Gliffy can be used to draw flow charts, workflow documents, network diagrams, website layouts, floor plans, seating charts… and is currently free and in beta. There is the abiltiy for several people to collaborate on editing a diagram, and you can export diagrams as SVG files, which can be opened by Microsoft Visio, Adobe Illustrator, and Macromedia Feehand.

The examples provided are impressive, and I can imagine students enjoying using this to work together in creating flow charts as they plan projects.

This looks like a lot of fun - have you used it?

Hi Karen - I have played with it and found it has great features, somewhat similar to inspiration, but free and it’s possible to collaborate by inviting others to your diagram. My basic example is published (somewhere) as

It should aslo be possible to embed the diagram in my blog, but I have tried that.
