web-based slideshows

The online office suite Zoho has added a new presentation tool this week to their 12 other web based applications and productivity tools, including word processor, spreadsheet, and chat. It’s called Zoho Show, and is designed to creating and displaying remote presentations on the web. A top feature is the ability to import Power Point files up to 1MB in size, and Zoho files can be exported to power point files or put up on the web.

Thumbstacks is the other recent online slideshow creator, which to me has a nicer interface, with better tools. Thumbstacks exports to HTML, rather than to PowerPoint. Both services support the import of photos from Flickr. Thumbstacks apparently struggles on Macs, although I had no problems, and has a limit of 5 viewers at once for slide shows.
