inspiredata from inspiration

Inspiration is well known and well used in NZ schools. Recently released InspireData appears likely to widen the application of the software. InspireData obviously integrates with Inspiration, allowing students to” formulate questions and make connections between data and its visual representations to interpret information, solve problems and draw conclusions.”

The quick tour is not yet available on the site, but from a quick look around the free 30 day trial download, you can use InspireData to collect and organise data using the questionnaire tool, import function and table entry features. Then use multiple plot types (venn, stack, pie and axis plots ) to visualize and manipulate data. Statistical tools, such as mean, median and summary counts are included.
