K12 online conference
If you missed Ulearn06, or perhaps your interest in the use of web2.0 tools in teaching and learning was raised at the conference and you would like to learn more, then I suggest you take a look at the K12 online conference.

The ???K12 Online Conference??? is for teachers, education managers and educators around the world interested in the use of Web 2.0 tools in classrooms and professional practice. This year???s conference is scheduled to be held over two weeks, Oct. 23-27 and Oct. 30- Nov. 3 and will include a preconference keynote by David Warlick, a keynote for our Learning@school conference in 2007. David will kick off the conference via Elluminate on October 16th at 6 pm Eastern Time. Other events will use skypecast and chats hosted by Tapped In.
The conference theme is ???Unleashing the Potential”, and has 4 strands. Presentations will be published the weeks of October 23 and 30, but all of the presentations will be online for anyone to access in the future. There will be weekly live Elluminate sessions so that conference participants can interact and ask questions of the Keynote speakers and other presenters. A link will be posted to the blog that will give you access to the weekly Elluminate sessions, and all of the sessions will be recorded for you to watch/listen to at your convenience. The Elluminate session times will all be published on the conference blog well in advance of each event. Subscribe to the blog for more details.
While the event is to an extent experimental and explorative (in the nature of web2.0) I believe this is a significant convergence of a number of web tools, social software services and innovative edu-bloggers, and will be well worth keeping an eye on.
