keynote co-construction and new tricks

Blogger Alan Levine, Director of the New Media Consortium (NMC), is planning a keynote session for the K12 Online Conference in October. Levine has set up an open wiki at http://cogdoghouse.wikispaces.com/webtricks and is asking readers to contribute their “coolest, most obscure web trick?” He will then share tricks with these web tools, “either doing something cool within common tools (e.g. annotated images with flickr notes) or doing something creative with lesser known tools like gliffy.”

So - an innovative way of collecting material for a keynote, and at the same time a source of some new webtricks. I liked the idea of “Retrievr”, where you sketch a simple graphic, press go, and the tool retrieves Flickr images that match the graphic’s shape. Not sure why or how you might use this, but seems intriguing.
