On my trip back to Auckland from Wellington this afternoon I was pleasantly surprised by the humour the pilot portrayed in the initial safety message, below are some examples of the pleasant surprises mid-flight:

We have a few senior citizens on board, if you are sitting next to one of them could you please make sure they behave….

Located on your sexy looking life jacket is a whistle and light to attract sharks….

There are emergency exits located throughout the plane, please make sure you familiarize yourself with these in case you’ve had enough of the crew….

These could be located in front or behind of you (just like a stalker…)

On landing: Please ensure your tray tables are stowed away and ladies make sure your shoes match your outfit

Thanks Pacific Blue for the funniest flight ever!

I like this quote…

” The last few decades have belonged to a certain kind of person with a certain kind of mind – computer programmers who could crank code, lawyers who could craft contracts, MBAs who could crunch numbers. But the keys of the kingdom are changing hands. The future belongs to a very different kind of person with a very different kind of mind – creators and empathizers, pattern recognizers and meaning makers. These people – artists, inventors, designers, storytellers, caregivers, consolers, big picture thinkers – will now reap society’s richest rewards and share its greatest joys. ”
